Palantir Technologies reported third-quarter revenue of $2.313bn for the period ended 30 September 2026, up 96% on a year earlier and 20% on the previous quarter. The figures come from the press release, dated 2 November, attached as exhibit 99.1 to the company’s filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. They are unaudited.

US revenue rose 119% year on year to $1.937bn. Within that, US commercial revenue grew 148% to $984m and US government revenue grew 96% to $953m. Palantir said US commercial revenue had passed US government revenue “for the first time ever”. The quarter’s figures show that ordering, but the exhibit does not state the earlier periods it compares against.

The company said it closed total contract value of $2.918bn, up 6% year on year. It defines that figure as the total potential lifetime value of contracts at signing, assuming customers exercise every option, and notes that the majority of its contracts can be terminated, including for convenience.

Palantir raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to between $8.530bn and $8.534bn. For the fourth quarter it expects revenue of between $2.649bn and $2.653bn.

Why it mattersPalantir's US commercial revenue grew faster than its US government revenue in the quarter, which changes the mix of a software supplier whose government business includes defence customers, although the release does not split government revenue between defence and civil agencies.
